Legal Help With a Social Security Disability Claim
If you have a physical or mental illness or condition that prevents you from working, then you should be able to claim financial assistance from the government through an application for either Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
If your SSDI or SSI claim has been denied, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the appeals process, with help from the experienced disability benefits attorneys in our law office.

At Doyle Law Team, our attorneys has more than 40 years of legal experience representing plaintiffs in all types of legal actions, especially including appeals of denied Social Security disability claims.
The Social Security Disability Benefits Appeals Process:
Requests for Reconsideration and Requests for a Hearing
If your original claim for Social Security disability benefits is denied, then the first step is for your lawyer to file a Request for Reconsideration, along with additional documentation of your disabling medical condition. If the Request for Reconsideration is denied, then the next step is for your lawyer to file a Request for a Hearing. The hearing is your opportunity to testify in person about your disability and its effect on your life and ability to work.
We recommend that you contact our office as soon as possible after you receive notice that your original SSDI or SSI claim has been denied, so that your attorneys has as much time as possible to prepare the Request for Reconsideration or the Request for a Hearing.
What About Attorneys' Fees?
When Doyle Law Team represents Social Security disability claimants, we handle their cases on a contingency fee basis. We do not require any fees up front, and we only collect attorneys' fees if your claim is eventually successful. The fees we charge are 25 percent of your award of back benefits, not to exceed $5221 (as of 2008), and we do not collect any percentage of your future monthly benefits.
